For a long while, I disliked Tofu. I think it was because of the way it was prepared. Too soft and squishy! My coaching clients began to ask me for other options of substituting meat so I had to bring in the tofu for better gut health. And I knew I had to figure out how to make this item in a way everyone would enjoy it!

I literally ate tofu ice cream, tofu soup, tofu on pizza you name it! And no problems whatsoever. Humm the wheels began to turn.
After much research on my gut health and conversations with my doctor, I learned more about tofu and your quality of tofu matters.
Why I choose to add tofu to my family's menu on a regular basis.
Tofu is a great source of high fiber, which keeps the colon clean. Getting enough fiber into our diets can be a struggle, to say the least. Foods for gut health are many, but tofu is one of the most versatile I have found that not only substitutes for meat, but can take on the taste of anything.
Tofu contains several anti-inflammatory, antioxidant phyto-chemicals making it a great addition to an anti-inflammatory diet.
Here is a quick sauce to add to your next tofu dish! Let me know in the comments what you think when you try it.
